The 12th Islamic Economics and Finance Summit is Beginning!

The Islamic Economics Workshop, organized annually by the ILKE Foundation’s Islamic Economics Research Center (IKAM), will be held with a new format as the 12th Islamic Economics and Finance Summit on October 16, 2024, in Istanbul. 


Previously focused solely on academic presentations, the Islamic Economics Workshop has been restructured as the Islamic Economics and Finance Summit for 2024. The 12th Islamic Economics and Finance Summit aims to bring together researchers, academics, public, and private sector professionals to share and discuss current studies on Islamic economics and participation finance.


The program will be held in one hall until noon, and in the afternoon, it will continue with two separate sessions: a general hall and an academic hall. In the general hall, leading institutions in the sector will give presentations explaining their current roles within the finance sector, while the academic paper presentations, which were featured in previous workshops, will take place in the academic hall this year.


The Islamic Economics and Finance Summit, with both academic and sectoral sessions, will provide long-term discussions where both academics and industry leaders can delve deeply into topics related to Islamic economics and finance. This will create opportunities to support collaboration between academia and the sector, enhancing alignment and cooperation.


The 2024 Islamic Economics Awards, now in its seventh year, will also be presented at the 12th Islamic Economics and Finance Summit.
