Dr. Taslima Julia is a visiting researcher at the Research Center for Islamic Economic (IKAM), Istanbul, Turkey. She has more than eight and a half years of teaching experience at different private universities in Bangladesh. She worked at the Green University of Bangladesh as an Assistant professor and Program Coordinator of the MBA program for two and half years before that she served the School of Business department of Primeasia University for five years. She started her teaching career as a lecturer at Victoria University of Bangladesh from June 2005 to May 2006. Dr. Taslima Julia has eighteen published articles in different renowned national and international peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.
Research
Her specialization in teaching includes Financial Management, Financial Institutions and Markets, Security Markets, and Portfolio Management. Her current field of interest is Sustainable finance, Sustainable development, Maqasid-al-Shariah, Islamic Banking, and Finance as well as Islamic Social Finance.
