Servet Bayındır

He graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Theology in 1993 and from Anadolu University  Faculty of Economics in 2005. He received his master's degree from  Marmara University with the thesis named " Özel Finans Kurumlarının İslâm hukuku Yönünden Değerlendirilmesi"(1995). He received his PHd with the thesis named " Faizsiz Bankacılık İşlemlerinin İslâm Fıkhı’ndaki Yeri"(2004). He became  an assosiate professor with his thesis titled " İslam Hukuku Penceresinden Vadeli İşlem Sözleşmeleri"  (2008) and a professor with his thesis “İslam Hukuku Açısından Para ve Sermaye Piyasası İşlemleri". He is currently the head of the department of Islamic Economics and Finance at Istanbul University.
