ISLAMIC ECONOMICS A RE-THINKING
Islamic economic studies dating from the 1970s to the present day have been articulated in the current economic system and are limited to a great extent only to financial transactions. However, the conceptualization of "Islamic economics" deserves to be a term that should, in essence, conjure up an alternative economic system. However, the financial and commercial transactions implemented in the real economic life are gradually disappearing from the position that they deserve, and the widespread contribution of Islamic finance instruments to economical theory is being ignored. Despite these developments, Muslim economists continue to work on different dimensions of this issue.
The book consists of discussion papers at the workshop "Islamic Economics Workshop-I: Basic Concepts and Ideas", which aimed to take a holistic view of the historical course of Islamic economic concepts and the conemporary influences in our conceptual world. This book, in which different writers treat multidimensional discussions of Islamic economics from conceptual, intellectual and methodological perspectives, has been combined with our traditional thought in order to establish a solid foundation for contemporary socio-economic issues. The book is intended to be a reference book that will lay the groundwork for Islamic economic studies.
