Community Compliance Model in Paying Zakat: An Empirical Approach

This study aims to build a community compliance model to pay zakat for wealth (zakatul mal) by involving variables such as faith, zakat rules comprehension, zakat socio-function comprehension, and the role of religious leaders. This study used faith as an intervening variable between zakat rule comprehension and zakat compliance as well as between zakat socio-function comprehension and zakat compliance.
Output Efficiency and Liquidity Risk of Islamic Banks

This study analyzed the relation between efficiency and liquidity risk of worldwide Islamic banks from 1986 to 2015. Bank efficiency was estimated based on output efficiency by using the stochastic frontier approach (SFA), while liquidity was calculated by using liquidity ratio (LR) and net stable funding ratio (NSFR) to examine the short-term and long-term liquidity risks. The finding showed that high output efficient banks had an inverse relation with LR, but a positive relation with NSFR.
Islamic Finance Involvement in Supply Chain of Financed Assets: A Library Research and Systematic Literature Review

This study showed that Islamic finance can support the supply chain and solve real business issues, including support beyond traditional financing. It maintains, within a different perspective, that the integration between Islamic finance and the supply chain is able to resolve real business problems. And as such, the differentiation between Islamic and conventional banking will be self-explanatory.
The Mediating Effect of Religiosity in Evaluating Individual Cultural Values Regarding Interest

This study aims to investigate the mediating role of religiosity on the relationship between individual cultural values and negative opinions on interest. In this way, the study aims to obtain an empirical basis for theoretical knowledge and to provide a statistically greater explanation of negative opinions on interest and cultural relations based on religiosity.
Credit Rating in the Islamic System: A Case Study of Saudi Arabian Banks

Understanding the credit agencies allows the country to diversify its investments and efficiently achieve the set goals. Therefore, this study aimed to explore the credit rating agencies within the Saudi Islamic system. The study results showed that the Islamic banking credit rating agency positively affects foreign business investors compared to domestic investors. The results also indicated that transparency leads to better share activisms to improve its evaluation method through better deployment.
Beyond Islamic Finance: Developing Disruptive and Collaborative Business Models in Modern Islamic Economic Thought - The Case of Konya Seker

Recalling its initial promises to generate socioeconomic justice, Islamic economics aims to strengthen a collaborative economy understanding, which emphasizes authentic business initiatives that are disruptive in terms of thinking beyond the neoclassical market logic. This paper, accordingly, suggests the case of Konya Seker, a joint-stock company operating under Anadolu Birlik Holding, as a disruptive and collaborative business model that symbolizes a success story in the Turkish business sector as to how a mediocre subsidiary of some beet growers’ cooperatives has eventually turned into an agricultural industry giant by pushing the limits of domestic economy and hence making inroads in the international business environment.

It is because Keeler points out, all the crises we experience today are the basic results of this blessed economic growth and progressive view.
