Islamic Finance and Digitalization

The second of the Islamic Economics Webinars series, organized in collaboration with IKAM and KTO Karatay University, was realized with the titled “Islamic Finance and Digitalization” by Melih Turan.
Today, internet and technology are increasingly used in consumer activities. In capitalist societies, the bank institution was one of the main vessels that nourished this system. However, technological transformations were reflected in both bank activities and non-bank fintech areas. Companies that nourish the consumer society and make consumption easier now do this via fintech. In this context, if it is going to be talked about the Islamic fintech concept, it has to be done by always considering the issue of triggering consumer culture.
