The third of the Islamic Economics Webinars series, organized in collaboration with IKAM and KTO Karatay University, was realized with the titled “Interest-Free Financial Institutions After COVID-19: Opportunities and Threats” by Hadin Oner.

In his presentation, Hadin Oner initially touched upon the concept of banking, financial system, Islamic economics and interest. In the following section, on the background of interest-free finance and participation banking in the world, Oner examined the potantial results and threats of the COVID-19 pandemic on what interest-free financial institutions could have.
