The fifth of the Islamic Economics Webinars series, organized in collaboration with IKAM and KTO Karatay University, was realized with the titled “COVID-19 Pandemic and Economic Conversion ” by Taha Egri.

As a global epidemic, Taha Eğri addressed the extent of the dimensions of COVID-19 to the global economy within the framework of numerical data and recently published economic reports. Especially the transformations in different sectors, the serious decrease in oil prices in the USA, and how the economy is likely to take shape in the period referred to as the new normal after the epidemic was brought to the agenda.
