The third of the IKAM Conferences was addressed by Arif Ersoy, who is the Vice Rector of Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University and the director of the International Islamic Economic and Finance Research and Application Center of the same university. The presentation entitled "Islamic Economic Solutions to Contemporary Economic Problems” was held on Saturday, February 4, at the İlke Association's new building located on Halk Caddesi, Türbekapısı Sokak, Üsküdar.
Arif Ersoy, known for his scholarship and political identity as well as his participation in many national-international events related to Islamic Economy, presented comparisons of the Islamic Economy with the dominant economic system in his presentation blending his experiences. The talk started at 18:00 and his discussion made mention of solutions to the present economic problems which Islamic economics may offer.
